The Raspberry Cordial smoothie is just what it sounds like: a healthy version of a favorite chocolate treat. This one is a little more intense on the raspberry front: raspberries are so good! Here, they’re sweetened with a little banana and honey, and smoothed out with Greek-style yogurt, which adds calcium to the berries’ antioxidant surge. The cacao’s depth balances out the berries’ tartness while adding its own superfood powers.
This smoothie is an intensely flavored summer treat – excellent for a sunset party, a weekend brunch, or by itself on a hot afternoon.
The Raspberry Cordial:
2 cups frozen raspberries
1/2 cup Greek style plain yogurt
1/3 medium banana
2 tsp raw cacao nibs
1 tsp honey
1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract
4 ice cubes
