Known for her ability to create a flawless natural beauty with an expressive kick, Meli Pennington has charted a uniquely successful path in the world of fashion and beauty makeup.

    After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Art History and studying Color Theory in Italy, Meli moved to New York and began working as a makeup artist. She was soon invited to assist Dick Page at photo shoots and fashion shows in New York, Paris, and Milan.

    On her own Meli has worked with an extraordinary range of photographers, from fashion heavyweights Patrick Demarchelier and Arthur Elgort to fine art innovators Ryan McGinley and Stephen Gill. Other world-renowned photographers who have requested her include Saitoshi Saikusa, Nicholas Moore, Vincent Peters, Jenny Gage/Tom Betterton and Nick Haymes. Her work has been featured in the pages of magazines ranging from i-D, Teen Vogue, Lula and Allure, as well as numerous international editions of Vogue.

    Meli is based in New York.
